VB-VS COMMODORE COIL OVER FRONT END

The Castlemaine Rod Shop have developed an all-new, fully adjustable custom made independent front suspension system.

Adding to their ever growing list of front ends for LC-LJ, LH-LX-UC TORANA, FX-FJ , FE-EK, EJ-EH, HD-HR, HK-HT-HG Holden’s and weld in kit for XK-XP, XR-XY, XA-XC Falcons, 64-67 Mustangs, VE - CM Valiant and Custom designed front ends.
The IFS front end is designed to bring your vehicles suspension, steering and braking technology into the 21st Century.

By removing the factory Holden strut front end and installing the new Rod Shop double A arm coil over unit you now have the option of more clearance for larger wheels and the opportunity to customise the inner guards or leave them un-touched for that standard look.

Not only does the new front end look great but it also features state of the art engineering, and transforms the handling and ride of your classic into an awesome machine. Fitment is made as easy as possible utilising the factory rack of your choice and position to accommodate existing engine and exhaust combinations.

The ROD SHOP front end has fully adjustable billet coil-overs with independent compression and rebound control giving you a total of 300 possible settings. This beautiful coil over took out best new product at the 2013 SEMA show.

Each front end has 2” drop or standard height spindles and offers endless adjustability whether you want your ride sitting as a low cruiser or to be taken to the race track and driven hard.

Wheel alignments are a breeze thanks to fully adjustable upper control arms, allowing for fine-tuning of camber and caster with 6 degree of anti-dive built in. The ball joints are a heavy duty screw in dust booted unit with a grease nipple which ensures a long service life.

The ROD SHOP use bolt-on engine mount adaptors, allowing buyers to specify from a list of popular engines they’d like their set-up to use.

When ordering your ROD SHOP front end you will also be given the opportunity to choose 1 of 2 brake options. First option is a Wilwood 320mm rotor with a 4 piston caliper but if you want something a bit more serious the Rod Shop now have a Wilwood 355mm rotor with a 6 piston dust booted caliper and a choice of a red, black or polished calipers.
