Made from a CNC-machined 4340 round bar. The Rod Shops proprietary manufacturing process ensures the strongest gear teeth, the least runout, and best longevity on the market and can withstand more than 12,000 RPM. Coated for corrosion protection. Certified to SFI 29.2 Will fit 10-1/2 “ and 11-½” converter bolt patterns CAN ALSO BE USED WITH GM TURBO/POWERGLIDE AUTOS BUT A CUSTOM CONVERTER WILL BE NEEDED! WE OFFER A FLEX PLATE WITH A TORQUE CONVERTER LOCATOR TO SUIT THE GM TURBO/POWERGLIDE CONVERTERS.

THE ORIGINAL FLEX PLATE WILL NOT WORK WITH THE TURBO TRANSMISSION FOR A NUMBER OF REASONS. A SPECIAL TORQUE CONVERTER IS NOT NEEDED. IN THIS KIT WE SUPPLY A TORQUE CONVERTER LOCATOR WITH THE FLEX PLATE TO CENTRALIZE THE ROTATING MASS. FLEX PLATE IS ALSO SFI APPROVED FOR DRAG RACING.
