HOW TO ORDER
ORDERING:
Use catalogue numbers (get these from the relevant web page or download here) and description, give as many details as possible about your vehicle including:- year. model, motor and transmission type etc. You can phone us on (03) 5472 2853. Fax facilities are available, the number is (03) 5472 1241. If you are outside Australia please replace (03) with 613 + your International dialing prefix. We are open 7.30 a.m. - 5.30 p.m, Monday - Friday and 8.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. Saturday. You can also contact us.
SPECIAL ONE OFF CONVERSIONS:
C.R.S. can manufacture special engine adaptors for customers requiring non-standard conversions. Specials are done in order of receiving or booking, on an hourly rate basis. If ordering, please be sure as many parts as possible are supplied such as the block with crankshaft in it, flywheel, starter, clutch assembly, the gearbox required etc. Not always is the block required as we have many of the more common types on hand. Please enquire first.
DESPATCHING:
All parts are sent on payment (account customers exempt). Nominate the method you require parts to be sent. A C.O.D.. service is available Australia wide by post for smaller articles up to 20 kg. There is a courier service available to Melbourne and suburbs each week day on a C.O.D. basis. We send Australia wide by Comet or Ipec on a prepaid basis, where the freight charges must be sent with the order - Freight quotes can be given by phone. Rail service is also available but all interstate passenger rail freight must be prepaid, Interstate goods rail service can be freight forward. Contact us for overseas shipment.
GST:
GST is included in all quoted prices. Exemption of this tax is only available to overseas orders. Prices are subject to change without notice.
EXPORT SALES:
The Castlemaine Rod Shop offers a complete export sales service for all the products we produce. It is important that you give as much detail about your order and as much info about yourself so you can be contacted and be assured of the correct components. We currently export to USA, UK, Middle East, Dubai, Thailand, China, Indonesia as well as New Zealand.
All export orders must be paid for in full by Direct Deposit ONLY prior to shipping. We ship daily via Australia Post, DHL & UPS with all the appropriate paperwork completed. We can ship with almost any carrier of your choice.
TERMS OF PAYMENT:
We have EFTPOS facilities available, for Bankcard, Mastercard, Visa Card (Please note NO American Express), either over the counter or phone sales (not export sales). A bank cheque or money order is acceptable for mail order sales, which must include full payment plus freight costs where applicable. Australia Post also have an express money order service available through most Post Offices, which can have the money to us in 20 minutes, this service costs a little extra but it means that the parts can be despatched on the day of ordering. Simply go to your nearest Post Office, give them the required amount of money and ask that it be wired to us C/o Castlemaine Post Office. Bank deposits can be paid direct but please call or fax us for details. Trade customers may apply for an account - download form here.
ENQUIRIES:
Please state as many details as possible concerning the nature of your enquiry and include a stamped self addressed envelope with all enquiries.
DAMAGE:
All parts are despatched in good condition, packed properly and delivered to the shipper as such. Damage claims will be handled by us on prepaid items only.
RETURN OF GOODS:
Parts may be returned with valid reason. Any goods returned after seven days will incur a 20% deduction from price paid for handling. Freight on returned items must be prepaid. We will not accept any C.O.D. on returned merchandise. Goods made or purchased to special order are not acceptable for return. All goods remain the property of Castlemaine Rod Shop until paid for in full.
