Please read everything below before purchasing



 



  K-Frame This conversion is designed to suit the RB30 6 cylinder K-Frame

 
If your vehicle is fitted with a V8 K-Frame you will need to source a

 
6cylinder RB30 K-Frame which are by far the most common and

 
easily obtainable from most local wreckers.

 
We have found this set up to be by far the best giving the most

 
clearance in all areas.

 
You will see in the pics below that the set up we have designed allows

 
the factory Commodore sump to be used and give good clearance

 
and allows bonnet to close without modification.

 



 


 



 



  Trans Tunnel Due to VL having a narrow tunnel, you will need to modify the tunnel

 
for clearance to the transmission. Here are some pics of the areas that

 
will need to be modified for clearance when using the Auto.

 
Areas that need to be modified are shaded in red.

 
The manual box requires far less modification, only a few small

 
areas at the top of the bellhousing require modification

 



 


 



 

VL RB30 K FRAME to HOLDEN V8



  CRS have developed a mount that will allow you to fit a Holden V8 to your RB30


  K-Frame without having to change to a V8 K frame.


  They work with the VN-VS factory Holden rubber mounts
