We offer a reconditioning service for all manual transmissions as well as supplying parts for self reconditioning such as bearings, seals, gaskets, small parts kits, bushes. layshafts, shifters, Muncie nose cones (reproduction), speedo cables and drives, corrector boxes, rubber mounts and crossmembers for most popular models. If we don't have we can probably make it.

As well as gearstick repositioning kits Rod Shop also do special gearshift conversions for example: Toyota five speeds to floor change; T3000 and T3500 Ford/Mazda Traders to floor change and of course we will design and build special to special requirements.

New V6 Holden Flywheels!
With the non availability of V6 Holden manual flywheels we can now supply a range to cover all motors including the VN auto crank by use of an adapter to a V6 manual flywheel 6 bolt type or a special CRS flywheel is available to bolt direct to the crank. Made from premium grade steel, the auto ring gear is fitted and the auto starter used.

For the 8 bolt cranks we have a new cast flywheel which has been balanced, fully machined and with the dowel pins supplied. Again the auto ring gear is used.

NOTE: New flywheel bolts must be used on the V6 motor each time the flywheel is removed. See our full list of flywheels below.
